The conference headquarters in Montecatini. Montecatini,a resort village 60 km east of Florence, is well known for its mineral springs and popular vacation spot for Italian families. It lies at the base of a ancient mountain fortress, Montecatini Alto which is accessible by a cable drawn funicular and narrow winding road.
